A Passionate Pilgrimage
Divine and Human
March 15-17 ST LUKE EPISCOPAL CHURCH,
This year we welcomed The Rev'd Dr. Gary Thorne who led us on, A passionate Pilgrimage: Divine and Human. From Fr. Thorne, these words:
We began our weekend pilgrimage where our secular culture generally concludes: with Saint Paul’s beautiful description of Love in 1 Corinthians 13: “and now abideth faith, hope, love, these three: but the greatest of these is love.” This weekend, we joined Jesus on his divine pilgrimage during Passiontide where he offers us the unimaginable: Divine Friendship and His Body and Blood as the nourishment for our continuing earthly pilgrimage into holiness and eternal life.
